Ingredients:
- 2 cups canola oil
- 1/2 cup okra, diced small, tips discarded
- 1/2 cup flour
- sea salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 1/4 yellow onion, diced small
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk (can use cream or buttermilk
Directions:
- Heat oil on medium in a large, heavy non-stick skillet
- Combine all ingredients and mix well
- Drop the mixture in 2 tbsp. segments into the oil
- Cook until golden brown on each side - flipping once
